Principal's address to the Marians'..

Sr. Merlin C.J
(Principal)

Good Morning, Rev. Fr. Jose T J our manager, Sisters, Teachers, parents’ and my dearest students.

Warm and pleasant greetings to one and all. In fact, this is my first address to you dear Marians in the academic year 2020 which began with a New Normal due to COVID 19 outbreak. God is gracious always and He finds ways and means to get us connected in His own time. Let’s believe in the power of this Great God of ours.

Through this virtual assembly, I would like to tell you my dear Marians that we miss your presence in the classrooms, corridors, and in our vast campus. St. Mary’s remains empty without you my dearest children. We would like to tell you that we care for you and wish you the best as always.

This morning I would also like to congratulate and thank all your parents involved in the medical field or doing any other essential services during the pandemic at considerable personal risk. Dear Nurses, doctors, health workers, and all those risking their lives for our students to have comfortable homeschooling. we acknowledge your service and from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU. A big thank you to all my teachers for walking that extra mile to help our students by using the latest technology even if it consumes their energy and effort day in and day out.

The management and staff ensure our wholehearted support and help you my dear Marian’ in reaching your goal in this academic year. As the circumstances emerge we remodel our strategies to bring out the best in you. Whether you are off the campus or on campus the motto of St.Mary’s remains the same that is Competence for Commitment. So dear children strive for excellence, be hardworking, and live a purposeful life. I urge you to take your studies seriously for time and tide wait for none. Remember to speak in English and develop your English language by utilizing your time for reading. Follow a time table and prioritize your studies and actions at home. Involve yourselves in prayer, yoga, indoor games, creative activities, and above all entertain yourselves in POSITIVE THINKING. Don’t use social media wrongly instead follow the ethics of social media while using it for your studies. Grow up to be dutiful and honest students because all your tests are conducted online. Do not compromise your honesty for the sake of getting marks.

My special greetings and love to all the KG children who couldn’t begin their schooling in our classrooms and are taking the classes from home. Dear parents and little angels of St. Marys you are our ‘EPIC BATCH” and fondly remembered by all of us.

I take this opportunity to heartily congratulate our class 10 and 12 students for the wonderful result and proud of all the toppers for bringing laurels to the school and to your parents.

Also my greetings and thanks to all the parents for your constant support and cooperation to the school.

I am ever grateful to Ms. Rita, Ms. Algy, and the students of class 12 for taking care of this unique assembly. Your team spirit and hardworking attitude are commendable. A special word of thanks you to Mr. Naveen from MS Teams for the technical support and able guidance for making this virtual assembly a reality.

As we pray and continue to flatten the curve of COVID 19 dear children please remember to take care of yourself and your family. Stay indoors, remain safe, and be healthy.

I would like to conclude by wishing you all a wonderful and happy week ahead. All the best to you dear students for the ongoing tests. Don’t lose faith, courage, smile, and the will to study. May God bless you and grant you all a BLISSFUL DAY.
