Rules of Conduct & Discipline

Parents are requested to read the contents that follow and co-operate with the school in the observance of its rules and code of conduct.

  • Strict regularity and punctuality, obedience, courtesy in word and deed, cleanliness in dress and person and proper care of books and school property are expected from every pupil.
  • Children should reach the school 10 minutes before the commencement of the school. The School gate will be closed at 7.40 a.m. Latecomers will not be allowed to enter into the campus.
  • All the students are to wear the school identity card at all times during the school hours. Duplicate Identity Card will be made on loss or damage of the original identity card on payment of Rs. 100/-.
  • Girls shall not wear any jewellery. They are not permitted to have long nails or apply nail polish, kajal, mehandi etc. when they come to school. Boys must have a proper hair cut at all times. Long hair, long nails and jewellery are not permitted.
  • In order to acquire fluency and a good command of the English language. children should speak only in English in the school premises.
  • Care must be taken of all school property. No student shall scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school property, write or draw anything on the walls. Damage caused must be reported at once to the school authority. Any damage done will be made good by the student responsible for it.
  • Students are not allowed to buy eatables from vendors outside the school.
  • Underage during of vehicles is forbidden by law. The school reserves the right to punish any student found in violation of this rule while in school uniform
  • Bringing of crackers to school is not permitted. If any child found in possession of fire crackers in the school premises, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
  • Students are not permitted to bring colours or throw colours on others in the school premises during the Holidays season. Any child found possession of colours will be liable to disciplinary action.
  • Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones/smart/digital watches or any such electronic gadgets to the school. Mobile phones found in the possession of any student while in school, will be confiscated and it will not be returned.
  • No tiffin boxes/water bottles or any other articles will be accepted at the reception for delivery to the students.
  • Students are not permitted to avail short or half leave for any reason.
  • A student who uses unfair means during test, examinations etc, will be given a zero in the subject. Repetition of the same offence shall result in dismissal from the school.
  • A student who fails twice in the same class will not be allowed to continue in the school.
  • Continuous absence for more than 7 days except on genuine medical grounds will entail removal from the School rolls, and will be readmitted only if there is a vacancy and on payment of the admission fee.
  • Upto three days leave can be granted by the class teacher. Leave of absence with reason must be recorded in the Diary and signed by the parents. Absence on medical grounds for more than three days should be supported by a medical certificate. Long leave will be granted only by the Principal, at her discretion.
  • Once the children report to school, they may not leave the School Premises without the permission of the Principal. The school will not be responsible for the offenders in this respect.
  • Every pupil must take part in School games and other activities, unless declared physically unfit by medical certificate or exempted by the Principal.
  • Collection of money for any purpose whatsoever requires the sanction of the Principal. Children are encouraged to practise humanitarian values by means of 'Sparing and Sharing'. Such collections to help the less fortunate will be entirely voluntary and it will be utilized for the education of the poor.
  • Students will not be permitted to go home before the scheduled time after a test or an examination.
  • All students are to be present on the last working day of school before the commencement of Summer Vacation and on the first day when the school reopens after Summer vacation. A penalty of Rs.500/- will be levied, if a student is absent on any of these days.
  • No examination/test will be held for the absentees.
  • No student shall be eligible to appear for the final examination in Classes IX.X. XI or XII unless he/she has 75% attendance.
